Uninstallation

Solidworks:

Note: To update the MaXXlink add-in, the current version requires that a reinstallation be done. This means an uninstallation of the old version. Updates do not require any adjustments to be made to the web interface.  

To uninstall the MaXXlink add-in, please follow the below steps:

1. Close all existing sessions of SW.
2. Navigate to the location C:\sw_addin\
3. Delete the entire folder

These changes will kick in when your Solidworks has been restarted.

Solidworks PDM:

1. Stop any vault-related PDM services
2. The PDM administrator will need to open the PDM administration
3. Right click MaXXlinkPDM - {Version} which is under {Vault Name} -> Add-Ins
4. Open the card used for MaXXlink assemblies under 'Cards -> File Cards' and remove the affiliated MaXXlink buttons.
