#TASK contains three main sections, the items scope, task scope and arguments as shown below.

| Toolbar | This toolbar provides shortcuts to #TASK settings, notifications and a SOLIDWORKS version selector. |
| Items Scope | This panel lists working folders that are processed when you 'Run' a job. #TASK will perform operations on compatible SOLIDWORKS files, as defined by the filter located within the items scope panel. |
| Tasks Scope | This panel list tasks (operations) that are scheduled for processing. Tasks are performed on valid files, as defined in the items scope. |

This panel lists unique configuration parameters that are available for a selected task. |
User Interface Details
User interface for #TASK contains several options as shown below.

| Label | Description |
|---|---|
| SW Versions | This dropdown lists compatible SOLIDWORKS versions that were detected. You can select an active session of SOLIDWORKS or choose to initiate a new session. |
| Notifications | Clicking on the bell will list the notification messages that you received. |
| Settings | Clicking on the cog will launch the #TASK settings form. For more information please see the settings section. |
| About Menu | Right click on the #TASK logo and select about #TASK to view the application version, EULA and other information. |
| Filters | Type the specific filename extension to include files in the scope for execution. Multiples extensions need to be separated by a comma. Alternatively, you can use the appropriate buttons to add/remove SLDPRT, SLDASM and SLDDRW extension types |
| Task List | This panel lists tasks (operations) that are scheduled for processing. Each task is performed on every valid file as defined in the items scope. |
| Task Groups | You can organise common tasks together by creating new tabs. Jobs will be executed on the currently selected tab. Note: To activate this feature, you must tick the 'Task Items Group Manager' option in the settings tab. Please refer to the Settings help section for more information. |
| Add / Remove Tasks | You can press the + / - buttons to add and remove tasks (.sts,.stm,.swp or .dll files) located on your computer. |
| Library | Click on the globe button to open the #TASK online library. Here you can download new tasks to run. For more information please see the online library section. |
| Access | You can set the level of access granted to files that are processed by #TASK. The blue R icon sets read only mode (recommended). The red W represents read & write mode, this allows #TASK to modify your models (e.g rebuild tasks or edit properties ). |
| Configuration | Setting the single cube icon will configure #TASK to execute on the active configuration only. Two cubes will set the session to execute on all configurations, this unlocks the option to treat configurations as individual Items. |
| Connect | A link to our website, LinkedIn group and relevant YouTube videos are provided in the bottom left corner. Click on the mail icon to share your idea, register a bug or suggest an enhancement. |
| Subscription Information | You can mouseover the subscription icon "std." or "pro." or "prm." in the bottom right corner to see your subscription details. You can also upgrade your subscription. |
